Hi, and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Alan Agnew - I run Agnew Driver Training from my East Kilbride base and cover many surrounding areas.
Agnew Driver Training is an independent School of Motoring based in the Lanarkshire region, although we have many contacts within West and East Central Scotland and can put you in contact with a reliable driving school if we are unable to cover your area.
At Agnew Driver Training, we care for our customers and ensure that they succeed in their ambition to drive a vehicle - safely, correctly, smoothly and confidently.
We are not just a driving school that merely teaches you to pass the practical test, we guarantee to actually teach you safer driving for life.
I personally am a professional trainer, in many fields, and a fully qualified DSA ADI. I have many years of experience in dealing with inexperienced and nervous people who believe that they can't do what they want to do. I use techniques such as Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to enhance confidence and build upon pupils life experiences, thereby allowing them to carry out tasks they thought they were unable to do, one of which is often passing a driving test!
I have been in the Driving Industry for nearly 30 years, 15 years of which I have carried out various Training roles including Driver Assessments, Coaching and Refresher Training for a large multi-national logistical company to ensure that all their drivers are confident, capable, legal and safe on the road. I hold numerous Road Traffic qualifications, including the highly respected RoADAR (RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders) Diploma in Advanced Driving and am perfectly placed to deliver top quality training to:-
